Upcoming Event: Classic Album Sundays @ Bellwether
When Pink Floyd released The Dark Side of the Moon in 1973, it transformed the band from psychedelic obscurity to international superstars. The follow-up album Wish You Were Here released in 1975 was itself a bonafide masterpiece that further catapulted the group into legendary status. Wish You Were Here delivered on both fronts, it being both parts a cohesive concept record that also produced FM classics like "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and its immortal title track.
For the first Classic Album Sunday of December, Bellweather will be featuring a state of the art presentation of the album on vinyl with a lead up containing music that inspired and was contemporary to the record. DJ Will Automagic will be providing the story of the LP before dropping the needle at 7 pm so come by early to get a seat, a drink and some oysters before being fully taken away once again by the shimmering gem.
