As far as being a favorite among the indie and the mainstream, Ali 'Dubfire' Shirazinia makes a fine art out of towing the line between the two. When making tracks as one half of the duo, Deep Dish, he's picked up Grammys, released hit dance singles, and played some pretty revered venues. As a solo artist though, Dubfire spends his time scouring the depths of several indie genres of past and present including, punk, dub step, industrial, new wave, house, techno, and hip-hop, for an eclectic mix of fun and uniquely sequenced tunes. He's a heavily sought after remixer, and his live spins are always extremely eventful. The former clothing factory turned night club, District 36, is the perfect setting for a night of Dubfire's fancywork, which will bound to be the go-to spot in mid-town's garment district this Saturday.
