Ace Hotel NYC Designers Give Miami’s Saxony Hotel a $250 Million Facelift

As one of Miami Beach’s original luxury resorts built in 1948, it’s high time for the Saxony Hotel veteran to undergo a $250 million facelift.

With young, new and architecturally pioneering hotels popping up along South Beach today, Saxony Hotel developer Alan Faena has commissioned cutting edge New York based design firm Roman And Williams to restore the opulent hotel site with a fresh modern twist.

Undoubtedly top dogs for the job, Roman and Williams have created the structural décor for a bevy of iconic New York hotels including New York’s exclusive design award winning Ace Hotel. The sought after firm has also become a favorite among celebrity clients also looking to put their properties under the knife.

With plans (pictured) locked down and construction expected to take twenty months to complete, Miami visitors can soon expect to experience a touch of New York on South Beach.
