Event Recap: Grey Goose & A-Trak’s End Of Summer SoBe Bash [Gallery]

To celebrate the official end of Miami summer, Grey Goose chose the Magic City as one of its locations to throw a season-closing bash — with plenty of vodka. Honoring us with our very own Grey Goose L’Orange South Beach Punch, a small group of local elite and industry folk gathered Sunday at the scenic rooftop of Juvia, overlooking the city with the deep blue as a bordering backdrop.

An oversized bowl of South Beach Punch consisted of citrusy Grey Goose L’Orange Vodka, acerbic Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice, saccharine agave nectar and a kick of red chili water. Along with the SoBe offering was Grey Goose’s rendition of Hamptons Punch, which featured Grey Goose Cherry Noir and strawberry and basil notes. Both were the specialty cocktails of the late-afternoon get-together, which wrapped around sunset.

Art Basel was a hot topic of conversation amongst the networking crowd, which consisted of upcoming UR1 festival director Alex Omes and Art Basel Event Production Manager Donnamarie Baptiste. Fittingly, renowned DJ A-Trak was invited to spin the mood music, which ranged from atmospheric midtempo tracks to upbeat disco bangers. Standout boogies belonged to stellar remixes of Sebastien Tellier’s “Kilometer” and “Your Everything” by Miami’s own Danny Daze. A-Trak, who acts as an entertainment icon for Grey Goose’s latest vodka flavor, Cherry Noir, was the ideal choice for Sunday’s schmooze-and-sip soiree.
