Miami Heat Opening a Nightclub

By Doug Bleggi

The Miami Heat are going to be scoring some big points with fans with the opening of their own Hyde nightclub at the American Airlines Arena. The club will include multiple bars, flat-screen televisions and a private dining room, perfect for pre and post game lounging.

While the bar is definitely geared towards game patrons, there will be no cover, so even those looking to just have a few drinks and watch the game on ESPN can do so without a ticket. “Arenas want to bring in the next level of experience, such as a nightlife component,” says Sam Nazarian, the SBE Entertainment Group, LLC, who is partnering with the Heat on this new venture. “People are looking for more than just hot dogs and pizzas.” SBE which operates four other Hyde bar locations will also be looking to expand to New York’s Madison Square Garden, Dallas’ Cowboys Stadium and Anaheim’s Angel Stadium.

Large enough to accommodate 200 people in its 5,000 square feet quarters, the club is sure to be a hot spot for those looking to celebrate a victory or toast for one in the near future.
